Clemson Football: The worst College Football Playoff committee ever

If I could come up with the perfect CFP committee, then I could also come up with a nightmare committee. Here are thirteen people we should hope never make any important decisions for the playoffs.

Jim Harbaugh

Wow. The third national championship winning coach on my list. Jim Harbaugh is more akin to Lou Holtz than Jimbo Fisher. Harbaugh is a good coach. He was also a successful player.

Why is he a part of the worst CFP committee ever? He’s just a bad dude who treats those who love him like garbage.

The suspension that was imposed by Michigan at the beginning of the 2023 season for recruiting violations is bad. The suspension that Harbaugh agreed to at the end of the season due to the sign-stealing scandal is worse.

The way he treats Michigan and their fan base is the worst of all. When was the last time that he didn't try to get a job in the NFL after the Wolverines' season was over? Not just go on interviews, but actively campaign to get a pro job?

I'm not a Michigan hater. My brother-in-law is a graduate so I am fond of the program. The fanbase is as dedicated as any school in the nation.

Harbaugh makes them sweat it out at the end of every single season. He even interviewed for an NFL job on signing day a couple years ago.

Big Blue Nation wants to be successful. Harbaugh is one of their favorite sons and they know he is a good coach, so they always welcome him back with open arms. I'm glad they got the national championship this season. Considering all the crap Harbaugh has put them through, they deserve it.

Hopefully this cycle ends this season with Harbaugh finding his true love in the NFL and he stops jerking around the people who really love him.
