Sometimes, you have to rely on the defense to win games, and that's ok, even in the age of high-fling offenses.

After scoring 40 or more points in the last three games, Clemson fails to score a touchdown in the second half. For whatever reason, the Tigers could not punch in the ball when it got into the Redzone. Not once did they score a touchdown while in the endzone. Both touchdowns were off of explosive plays, one a 57-yard strike to Antonio Williams and another a 23-yard pass to TJ Moore.

However, the rest of the red zone visits ended in field goals or blocked fields. Yes, that's field goals. When was the last time we saw a game with two blocks? Regardless, it's a problem. Florida State is the second-best defense the Tigers have seen, but they probably won't be the best they see the rest of the season.
