With less than four weeks until the Tigers take the field against Georgia, the US LBM Board of Coaches has released the first Coaches Poll of the 2024 season. Clemson debuts at No. 14.

As many thought, the first game of the season will be against the top-ranked team in the nation, with Georgia coming at No. 1. The ACC boasts four teams in the top-25 with four more receiving votes. Florida State leads the league, coming in at No. 10, followed by No. 19 Miami and No. 22 NC State.

Clemson will play seven teams this season that are either in the Coaches Poll top-25 or received votes. The first five games will include four: Georgia, NC State, Florida State, and Appalachian State (received votes). However, the three other teams — Louisville, Virginia Tech, and South Carolina — only received votes and are not in the top-25.
