The Tigers are looking to rebound against Appalachian State after their loss to Georgia. The Mountaineers are known for their ability to knock off high-level opponents, so Clemson has no room to relax today.

Appalachian State dominated East Tennessee State 38-10 last week. The passing game is where App State shines, throwing for 326 yards and two touchdowns. However, they also gained 177 yards on the ground, with four rushers recording at least 20 yards.

The Mountaineers were very good at defending the passing game, giving up just 122 yards. On the other hand, Clemson could expose their rush defense. They gave up 209 yards, letting ETSU's starting RB Devontae Houston rush for 126 yards and a touchdown. Instead, the Tigers might opt to work the passing game after last week's performance.
