5 Clemson Football players we missed out on in EA Sports College Football

Clemson Football fans were robbed of playing with some of the greatest Tigers of all time because of EA Sports College Football's hiatus during one of the most successful eras in the program's history.

Jordan Leggett

This is a tad bit of a cheat here because technically Leggett was featured in the last version of the game created in 2013. Leggett was a true freshman in 2013. His ‘likeness’ was included, especially in revised versions of the rosters that were released as time went on.

We never got to play with the older Leggett that eventually would have existed with the 2016 version that would have been catching passes from Watson, so that is why I have decided to include him on this list.

Leggett was the last in a long list of tight ends that played key roles for the Tigers. After he left for the NFL, the production from the position waned during the Lawrence era. We are just now getting back to seeing a tight end contribute as much as Leggett did with Jake Briningstool on the current roster.

Leggett’s athletic ability set him apart from all the others, however. Whether it was his diving touchdown against Florida State in Tallahassee or his full extension catch in the National Championship game, he had a knack for making spectacular plays.

Leggett would have been a blast to play with. Just get the ball near him and watch him jump for it.
