5 Clemson Football players we missed out on in EA Sports College Football

Clemson Football fans were robbed of playing with some of the greatest Tigers of all time because of EA Sports College Football's hiatus during one of the most successful eras in the program's history.

Travis Etienne

What could you not do with Etienne in EA Sports College Football?

He was one of the greatest rushers of all time. I had a friend who once said that Etienne was the most deceptively fast running back ever, and he was right. He never had a running style that made him look fast but it never kept him from pulling away from the defender once he got past him.

He had moves too. I am not sure anyone utilized ‘dead leg’ as well as Etienne. He understood how and when to use it and then how to use a burst of speed to leave the defender in the dust.

He was a good pass catcher too. If running between the tackles wasn’t yielding results, throw it to Etienne in the flat and let him work his magic.

He was also second only to CJ Spiller when it came to special teams. The last thing an opponent wanted to do was leave a kickoff short and give Etienne a chance to return the ball into their territory. That was essentially giving points away.

Etienne would have been a Swiss Army knife in this game and it would have been glorious.
