5 Clemson Football freshmen who are sleepers in 2024

Some talented freshmen could have a chance to play for Clemson Football in 2024 because the depth at their position is thin. Others have more players ahead of them if they want to see the field this fall. Here are five sleepers who could impress in 2024.

Recently, Rubbing The Rock published a list of the five freshmen in 2024 who need to be elite for Clemson to get back to the ACC Championship Game and challenge for a College Football Playoff spot. Those five were Sammy Brown, TJ Moore, Bryant Wesco, Darien Mayo, and Corian Gipson.

Not only are those players talented, but they will have opportunities. There are needs at their positions that might necessitate that they see the field faster than some of their classmates.

They aren’t the only talented players in Clemson’s incoming class, but the difference lies in the potential opportunities. Clemson has ample depth in several units on both sides of the ball.

Freshmen in those player groups could be very good, but they would have to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are better than the veterans ahead of them if they are going to see the field.

Some of them might be that good. There might be unexpected transfers. There also might be injuries that thin out the depth at those positions.

Here are five freshmen who are flying under the radar that could make a bigger impact on the 2024 season than expected.
