College Football Network released its preseason All-ACC team and individual accolades on Monday. Ten Tigers earned a spot, and Freshman linebacker Sammy Brown was named Preseason Impact Freshman of the Year.

The former five-star prospect from Jefferson, Ga., has impressed his coaches and teammates in his short time at Clemson. Star linebacker Barrett Carter praised the freshman, saying, "First of all, he looks the part already. Physicality-wise, I would say he's probably stronger than all of us already ... Sammy, he's wired differently, to say the least." While Brown might not have made CFN's preseason All-SEC, he has a tremendous shot at being honored at the end of the season.

Speaking of Carter, he was the only Clemson first-team selection by CFN after his 62-tackle, 9.5-tackles-for-loss performance in 2023. However, he was one of five defensive players named. On the offense, Clemson had four representatives and one more on special teams.
