The NBA Summer League has been kind to one former Clemson Tiger: PJ Hall.
The former Clemson star has been dominating off the bench during Summer League play but he just pieced together his best performance with the Hornets yet.
In a blowout win over the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday night, Hall broke out for 11 points with eight rebounds and four blocks on 5-of-8 shooting. He was two rebounds shy of a double-double and he put multiple defenders on posters.
It looks like he's making a legitimate case for a two-way contract.

Hornets fans have been raving about his play, too. He's been playing with a ton of energy off the bench, and he's been the team's spark plug during Summer League play, leading Charlotte to the playoffs as the Hornets didn't lose a single game.
Hall had been about as productive as a bench player could be during Summer League play, coming in and playing 10-15 minutes and scoring 7-10 points every time out.
This type of success shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who has watched him play from his Clemson days to the G-League last season, where he averaged nearly 20 points and over 12 rebounds per game. He is proving to be a force on both ends of the floor, and honestly, Charlotte could use a spark like Hall.
The Hornets could use a little of everything if they want to climb out of the league's cellar, and picking up a low-risk, high-reward player like Hall on a two-way contract would be a great start.
