The Tigers are picking up their stride as they gain their fifth confernce win against Georgia Tech, 70-59.

While Clemson wasn't perfect in tonight's game, it countered every miss with a stop or a make on the other end. In fact, the Tigers gave up seven more offensive rebounds but scored more second-chance points (7) than Tech (6).

The entire second half played out like that, with each team countering the other's blows, scoring 34 a piece. Luckily, the Tigers jumped out an 11-point lead in the first period, led by Jaedon Zackery's 12 points and Viktor Lakhin's 10.

After shining in Clemson's win against Florida State, Zackary had yet another stellar game. The Boston College transfer knocked down 7-12 from the field and 3-5 from three-point range for 21 points. Despite starting the season under 30 percent from deep, Zackery had hit six of his last nine triples in the previous two games, giving Clemson's potent three-point offense another weapon to utilize.

The Tigers are on the road again, heading to the commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Clemson and Pitt will square off in Petersen Events Center on Saturday, January 18, at noon (ET).
