After taking a year off in 2024, former Clemson star and fan favorite Hunter Renfrow signed with the Carolina Panthers this offseason, shutting down previous rumors about his retirement.
Renfrow made a name for himself at Clemson with a successful four-year career where he caught 186 passes for over 2,100 yards and 21 touchdowns, including the game-winner in the 2017 National Championship against Alabama. He was the most reliable pass-catchers while he was at Clemson and that earned him plenty of pro attention.
As a rookie, he made an immediate impact with the Raiders, catching 49 passes for 605 yards and four touchdowns. Not too shabby for a fifth-round pick. In his second year, he only continued what he started, catching 56 passes for 656 yards and two scores, but the real fireworks didn't come until his third season.
In year three, Renfrow caught 103 passes for 1,058 yards and nine scores. He earned the distinction as one of the most reliable young pass-catchers in the league. He only played 10 games the following season before seeing his production decline in 2023.
Now that he's back in the league with the Panthers, Clemson fans are hoping to watch him take off again in 2025 and now he has an official jersey number.
Clemson fans, you can now get your No. 13 Renfrow Panthers jersey.
