Starting his career with a bang, Hunter Renfrow looked like the future of the Las Vegas Raiders (then the Oakland Raiders still. He had over 600 receiving yards in each of his first three seasons, even hitting 1,000 in 2021 before taking a step back in 2022, playing in just 10 games.

In 2023, he played in all 17 games but saw a massive dip in production, posting a career-low in terms of receptions, targets, yards, and touchdowns.

The following season, he was out of the league, looking to make a roster.

After some fake rumors were spread about him retiring from the league this offseason, Renfrow responded with a funny comment and insinuated that he was in the middle of a return. Now, it looks like he was telling the truth as he'll be meeting with a couple of teams.

Renfrow is reportedly in talks with his former team as well as the Carolina Panthers, discussing an NFL return. The league needs more guys like Renfrow who are both tough and know how to run crisp routes, picking up tough yardage and he will have a job next season, it just makes too much sense.

The former Clemson star and national title game hero has nearly 3,000 career receiving yards and 17 touchdowns on 269 catches in his NFL career and it feels like he's on the brink of a major comeback.

Clemson fans are dying for Renfrow's return to the league and, honestly, a spot on the Panthers' roster with an improving Bryce Young might be the most fun option.
