Dabo Swinney landed another elite prospect on Friday afternoon as four-star wide receiver Gordon Sellars picked Clemson over the likes of Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, and South Carolina.
Sellars becomes Clemson's 14th commitment in the 2026 class and he helps the Tigers move back to the No. 2 class in the country behind only USC.
Not only is Sellars the 14th commitment for Clemson in the 2026 class but he's also the third four-star receiver. He joins Connor Salmin and Naeem Burroughs as the other four-star pass-catchers, leading to arguably the best receiver class in the country.
With the commitment of Gordon Sellars Clemson now has the best WR class in the country.

According to the tweet above, and recruiting rankings, the Tigers have three of the top 37 receivers in the 2026 class committed, and that's incredible when you consider just how good the corps is for the 2025 season. While the entire receiving corps won't be back in 2026, it's great to know that it can just be reloaded in one class like this.
Sellars is the lowest-ranked receiver commit for Clemson in the 2026 cycle at No. 207 in the nation and he held nearly 30 offers. That's pretty impressive for your "lowest" ranked receiver pledge.
Burroughs is the highest-ranked receiver commit, sitting at No. 62 in the country according to the composite. He's also the nation's No. 7 wideout and he held 36 offers including Alabama, Texas, USC, and Florida.
Salmin is right in the middle at No. 186 overall and he, too, was highly sought after with 31 offers. He's a Maryland native who could've picked just about any school just like his receiver classmates.
Swinney is building one of the best receiving corps in the country in recent memory for 2025 and it's only going to be reloaded in 2026. Scary.
