Cade Klubnik has been earning some rave reviews this summer from pretty much anyone with an opinion on quarterbacks.

The Clemson football star is projected to be the top returning quarterback in college football and a legitimate Heisman Trophy contender and he's already been named to preseason All-American teams. He's one of the best quarterbacks in the country and it doesn't come as much of a surprise considering he's working on his craft non-stop.

Even when he was a counselor at the Elite 11 Finals, the former MVP of the event was getting in some reps of his own, impressing scouts and college football experts in attendance.

It seems like everyone is high on Klubnik.

And that includes NFL Draft experts Mel Kiper and Matt Miller who recently released their rankings of the top prospects in the 2026 class and Klubnik was listed as the QB1.

Klubnik is one of the best pure passers in the country but the fact that he has the ability to utilize his legs to pick up yards when the pocket collapses makes him that much more valuable. He's one of the best dual-threats in the country which makes him dangerous.

In today's NFL, you have to be able to move or else you'll get eaten alive by the blitz. The game has changed so much that elusiveness and athleticism are necessary for NFL quarterbacks.

On top of being an elite passer and a plus ball-carrier, he's also one of the best leaders in the country. His teammates rave about him and so does Dabo Swinney. He is going to make one NFL franchise very happy as he'll likely be a top-10 pick in next year's draft, potentially No. 1 overall.
