If you're anything like me, you've been locked into EA Sports College Football 26 all week. Clemson football fans should be even more excited because the Tigers are one of the best teams in the game.
Clemson has the top-rated quarterback and best defensive lineman and edge rusher, ratings-wise, in the game. Cade Klubnik is the highest-rated quarterback, Peter Woods is the top-rated defensive lineman, and TJ Parker is the No. 1 edge rusher in the game as the Tigers are tied for the second-best overall rating in this year's edition.
While it's more fun to "rebuild" a program in dynasty mode, it might be fun to dominate for decades with Clemson and lead the Tigers to countless national titles. It would be an easy Year 1.
While the Tigers have the top-rated players at three different positions, they also have two of the top four freshmen in the entire game.
That's right, Clemson is built for the long run thanks to guys like Gideon Davidson and Amare Adams.

Davidson might be Clemson's starting running back this year, and he's earned a ton of praise already this offseason from the coaching staff and teammates. He's rated an 83 overall which makes him the top-rated freshman running back in the game, and he's the second-best freshman behind only Oregon wideout Dakorien Moore.
Amare Adams is the top-rated freshman defensive lineman in the game, and he's listed as an 82 overall. That's an impressive overall rating for a first-year player on an already loaded line.
