Dabo Swinney and Clemson football are closing in on landing another commit in their 2026 class.
Currently owning the No. 3 recruiting class in the country with 13 commits in 2026, Clemson might just move back up to that No. 2 spot on Friday afternoon.
That's right, Clemson is on commit watch officially.

Gordon Sellars, a four-star receiver from North Carolina, has a commitment date and time of Friday, April 18, at 12 p.m. ET and Clemson is one of the finalists along with South Carolina and Michigan and Notre Dame also feels like it has a chance here.
If you go by trends and crystal balls, the Tigers are the clear favorites.
Clemson has been in a good spot with Sellars for a while and a recent visit had to improve the Tigers' chances ahead of his commitment date. He had to see what Clemson did at the spring game with Tristan Smith breaking out in one of the best receiving corps in the country and crave that for his future. Clemson has a history of sending receivers to the NFL and that's not stopping any time soon.
Sellars is ranked the No. 207 overall recruit in the 2026 class as well as the No. 31 receiver, according to 247Sports. He holds nearly 30 offers and he has the athletic ability and frame (6-foot-2, 180 pounds) to be the next great receiver to come through Clemson.
Swinney seems to have his guy here and his 2026 class should be growing by one on Friday. We are officially on commit watch.
