We're still a few months away from the start of the 2025 season and just 12 weekends stand between us and kickoff. Clemson football fans are especially excited because this may be the best chance at a national title since Trevor Lawrence was still under center.

The Tigers are one of the top teams in the country and they have a handful of first-round NFL Draft prospects returning for another season.

Guys like Cade Klubnik and Antonio Williams could have probably been selected in the 2025 NFL Draft but decided to return for another season to chase a national title. They're joined by fellow first-round prospects Peter Woods, Avieon Terrell, and TJ Parker.

Parker and Woods make up one of the best defensive line units in the country.

According to Pro Football Focus, Clemson has the No. 1 defensive line in the country ahead of teams like Alabama, Texas Tech, Florida, and Penn State.

While two guys don't make up an entire unit, the Tigers also have guys like Will Heldt and countless other former blue-chippers, including Amare Adams, an incoming freshman who is expected to be the next big thing on Clemson's defensive line.

Clemson might have the most depth of any defensive line in the country as well as arguably the best defensive tackle and best defensive end in the country. Oh, and Heldt was even labeled as a transfer to keep an eye on this season by a national college football expert.

Just another reason to be counting down the days until the 2025 season finally kicks off.
