A Bayou Battle for Momentum
CFN says it all comes down to those first 60 minutes in Baton Rouge. One game to set the tone for the whole season.
“If ever a team needed to get off to a big start, it would be the 2026 Clemson Tigers,” the outlet wrote. “They desperately need a shot of life from jump, and nothing would bring it more than beating LSU.”
The so-called experts admit it: if Clemson storms into the bayou and takes down LSU, everything changes. Win that one, defend the home turf against Miami, and suddenly the Tigers are right back in the ACC title hunt—just like we expect.

Even CFN has to admit there’s a way for Clemson to finish strong, but let’s be real—the standard in the Upstate is sky-high. A decent bowl? That’s not what this program is about. Clemson plays for championships.
