Wake Forest made it seem like today's game would be interesting early. However, that changed pretty quickly. The Tigers win, 49-14.

Clemson took the Demon Deacons to the woodshed in the second half, outgaining them 273 yards to 38. After using turnovers to stop drives in the first half, the Tigers completely dominated without the takeaways. Although, they didn't have to dominate for long.

The offense dominated the time of possession, keeping the ball for 20:51 seconds of the second half. This game was exactly what they needed after last week — a game to clean up what troubled them and boost confidence. Quarterback Cade Klubnik certainly played better, completing 76 percent of his passes today compared to 57 percent against FSU.

Clemson will be back home next Saturday to take on Virginia. The Cavaliers have been surprisingly good this season, going into this weekend 4-1. They're currently up 7-0 against Louisville late in the first quarter.
