For the second straight year, Clemson basketball went without an NBA Draft pick.
The last Tiger to have his name called in the NBA Draft was Hunter Tyson in 2023 when he was drafted No. 37 overall by the Denver Nuggets.
Unfortunately, Brad Brownell's program will add a second straight year without a pick and he's only had two players drafted since 2014 which isn't ideal when you're trying to recruit. This lack of NBA Draft picks is not great for recruiting and Brownell will have to hope he has better luck in the 2026 NBA Draft.
Viktor Lakhin was expected to hear his name called in the second round at some point, but the Tigers' top prospect went undrafted. He was one of two Tigers who were hopeful of making an NBA roster, but both he and Chase Hunter will now have to wait for an undrafted free agent contract.
Lakhin had one of the best performances of any undrafted prospect this year, putting up 22 points on 9-of-12 shooting against Duke. He dominated a team with three top-10 picks. The fact that he went undrafted was just insane to me -- he's the kind of guy who will have a long career. I wouldn't be shocked if Lakhin earned a two-way contract and eventually made a roster and the same goes for Hunter. The two Tigers will hope to make some noise in the NBA Summer League.
Clemson will have a couple of prospects for the 2026 NBA Draft, but this year's process was rather disappointing.
