Brad Brownell has done it again. Following Efrem Johnson's commitment to Clemson basketball on Sunday, the Tigers picked up another transfer pledge on Monday afternoon.

This time, it's in the form of yet another 6-foot-10 forward.

Former top-150 recruit Jake Wahlin has officially committed to Clemson after hitting the transfer portal earlier this offseason. He played just two seasons at Utah, averaging 6.3 points and 4.9 rebounds as a sophomore in about 23.4 minutes of action. The Provo, Utah, native is looking for a fresh start after dealing with a tough situation in Salt Lake City.

He'll get that at Clemson alongside two other 6-foot-10 newcomers in Nick Davidson (Nevada) and Carter Welling (Utah Valley). RJ Godfrey is another incoming forward to split time in the post.

Wahlin didn't put up any crazy numbers, but he has the potential to score on the interior as well as space the floor out and hit some shots from deep. He showcased his abilities and potential multiple times throughout his sophomore season, such as a 16-point performance against Oklahoma State and a 10-point, 12-rebound showing in an upset of Kansas in February.

I see Wahlin as a solid depth piece in the post and while Clemson could use some guard depth, it does feel like Brownell has loaded up on lengthy bigs to replace Chauncey Wiggins, Viktor Lakhin, and Ian Schieffelin. This new trio of 6-foot-10 forwards should do the trick.

It'll be interesting to see if the Tigers are done portaling because, on paper, they have eight newcomers to go along with eight departing players. It should be a complete roster now.

Crazier things have happened.
