The Tigers won handily on Saturday, but beating up on lowly Wake Forest won't move them much in the AP Top 25 Poll. In fact, Clemson was leapfrogged by LSU and Iowa State.

LSU is 5-1 with a loss to USC at the beginning of the year. On Saturday, it beat No. 8 Ole Miss. Iowa State handled West Virginia 28-16. On the surface, LSU is understandable. However, the Rebels are looking more and more like frauds.

The win could be inflated, but we'll have to see how both finish the season. On the other hand, Iowa State looks like the favorite to win the Big 12, and West Virginia might be one of the better 3-3 teams in the country. Taking both games into account, Clemson staying at No. 10 doesn't seem too bad.

Miami and Clemson are the only ACC teams in the top 10, while the Big 10 dominates the top 5. Oregon, Penn State, and Ohio State make up No. 2 through No. 4, respectively. Texas stays at No. 1, but the traditional SEC powers aren't doing well, with only Alabama (7) and LSU (8) making the top 10.

Only two other ACC teams join Miami and Clemson. Undefeated Pitt and 5-1 SMU nearly crack the top 20, coming in at No. 20 and No. 21, respectively.
