Bryant Wesco Jr. officially up about 20 pounds since he came to Clemson

Clemson's receiver room is one of the most loaded in college football with Antonio Williams, Bryant Wesco Jr., and TJ Moore leading the way, but the depth will be a problem for defenses, too.

The Tigers have Athlon's No. 2 receiving corps in the country, and it's easy to see why.

Not only do the Tigers have that three-headed monster, but they have Tristan Smith who broke out this spring from the transfer portal, as well as Tyler Brown who was a breakout performer as a freshman in 2023 before missing more of 2024 with an injury.

You really can't ask for much more from this receiving corps, unless you look at how each of these players can improve themselves. They each have minor weaknesses that, if they get addressed, can be the difference between Clemson winning the ACC and fizzling out early in the playoff and the Tigers winning the national title.

One of the main weaknesses was the size of budding star wideout Bryant Wesco Jr. He came to Clemson as a 6-foot-2, 170-pound receiver which made him prone to injuries from quicker wear and tear, but it looks like he's gotten the message that he needs to put on some muscle.

While 190 pounds isn't exactly ideal for a 6-foot-2 wideout, he's still going to have great speed, and if he can add maybe 10 more pounds of muscle, he's going to be more of a problem than he already is.

Just when I thought this receiving corps couldn't get any scarier, Wesco Jr. goes and bulks up.

Who's stopping this passing attack?
