Clemson's media day provided fans a ton of good nuggets regarding the upcoming season and which players to be watching for when the Tigers take the field this fall.
We've heard names like Cade Klubnik, anyone along that defensive line, and even Adam Randall, but one name that hasn't been talked about enough has been Jeremiah Alexander. Linebackers coach Ben Boulware made sure to change that on Tuesday.
While talking about Alexander, you could tell that Boulware was excited about the Alabama transfer. He gushed over the newcomer, saying that he's the hardest working kid he's ever seen.
Everything Boulware said about Alexander should get fans pumped about his potential.
Boulware adds that Alexander (who transferred after 3 years at Bama) is currently leading the entire Clemson roster in their "accountability points" metric and has double the points of the No. 2 guy. "He does everything that he needs to do ... that formula usually works out" https://t.co/8bVR8YCP75

While Alexander may not start this season, the junior transfer from Alabama clearly has what it takes to make an impact and it would be shocking to see him not become a fan favorite in 2025 before potentially starring in 2026. Heck, he could become a star this season if Boulware's comments hold any weight (they do).
Alexander was expected to have a massive impact at Alabama when he committed in 2022 as the No. 1 edge rusher in his class and the No. 18 overall recruit.
Unfortunately, he appeared in just 27 games over three seasons and recorded eight tackles. He never quite "broke out" but that's going to change in a Clemson uniform. The high school teammate of Peter Woods is about to have a monster season after spending three years behind the scenes in Tuscaloosa as a former five-star.
These Boulware comments coupled with his standout performance during the spring game should have fans excited about Alexander's potential on this defense.
