Bowl games are a great time to give some young players an opportunity to play in a bigger spot than they did in the regular season. Clemson has a quite a few players that fans are excited to see step up, with over 20 players opting out of the Pinstripe Bowl.

Bowl games are exciting for many reasons. It gives fans one more chance to watch their favorite team play, there's new matchups between teams that rarely play each other, and we usually get to see players get opportunities they didn’t during the regular season.

One of the best ways to get a glimpse into the future of a program is by watching its bowl game. Many young players get their first real chance to play meaningful snaps in these games.

Clemson has 20+ players opting out of the Pinstripe Bowl due to draft preparations, entering the transfer portal, or injury. That means there will be many players who need to step into larger roles against Penn State.
