Trikweze Bridges

Trikweze Bridges was categorized as a safety by 247Sports coming out of high school. He was a 3-star prospect from Lanett High School in Alabama.

Like Johnson, he was in the Class of 2019, so he only has one season of eligibility remaining. Bridges was a starter for the Ducks in 2022, but he lost his spot in 2023. He was a key piece of Oregon’s rotation at corner.

Starting snaps might be something he is seeking, and he has already visited Florida, which is a place where he could find a starting job. Like Johnson, Clemson would probably love to add him, but he might not be interested in finishing his career as a depth option, which is essentially what he was in Eugene this season.

Looking at these five options, it could be tough for Clemson to find the right match at the top of the cornerback board. They might have to dig a bit deeper to find someone who fits. There are some players from smaller schools who aren’t as highly rated as these five players, but who could be looking to play for a bigger program, even if they don’t start.

For Clemson, it all depends on how much they prioritize adding a corner. We haven’t heard about any players contacted at this position, so maybe the Tigers are happy with what they have. Time will tell.
