Dabo Swinney updates the status of Barrett Carter
Dabo Swinney had his final press availability before the North Carolina game. He shared these tidbits.
Barrett Carter is day-to-day with his injury. He praised Wade Woodaz, who was the main guy who stepped in for Carter.
"“Baller. He is what you look for. Tough as they come. Multi-position guy. Pretty good true sophomore.”"
On the offensive line:
"“Keep it going. They have built some momentum. They have taken ownership and have a lot of pride in what they are doing. Continue to build confidence and momentum.”"
Swinney acknowledged the team is playing more man-to-man this season than in 2022.
"“Some things turn into man based on formations and releases and things like that. We’ve been able to be pretty aggressive this year because of our defensive front, they have played really good for us.”"
I take this as an acknowledgement that the defensive front is improved this year over 2022.
We have more official signings for Clemson Track & Field.
