5. Nate Wiggins, junior

The group I listed before will all be Day 2 or Day 3 picks in the NFL draft, but Nate Wiggins is going off the board on Day 1. The Athletic’s Dane Brugler has the 6-foot-2 cornerback at No. 14 on his midseason big board and with his length and athleticism he could rise in the draft process.

Wiggins has five passes defended this season with one interception, a touchdown, one sack, and one force fumble. Last season he had 11 PDs and one pick which he took back to the house.

NFL defenses love splash plays and Wiggins can provide them with his instincts and ball-skills. He’s a lock to leave for the draft.
