Good morning Clemson Nation! Here is this morning’s Clemson Tigers News.

Clemson Men’s Basketball gets another 2024 commitment

Head coach Brad Brownell has received his second commitment in a week from a Class of 2024 propsect. Guard Del Jones from Arlington, Virginia announced on Tuesday that he will play for Clemson Men’s Basketball.

Jones is 6′-2″ and 180 pounds, and plays at Compass Prep in Arizona. He is a 4-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite, and is the 90th ranked player in the nation.

Jones also held offers from Tennessee, NC State, Texas Tech and Oregon.

247Sports Adam Finkelstein says this about Jones:

"The first two things that stand out about Jones’ are his speed and toughness. He’s a legitimate combo-guard, who is equally capable of playing on or off the ball.Jones is probably at his best when he embraces being a true point guard and picks his spots a bit more judiciously, while still showing that same willingness to be aggressive in big moments."

Bryant Wesco reaffirms his commitment to Clemson Football

One of the highest rated 2024 recruits for Clemson Football is Bryant Wesco from Midlothian, Texas. He is a 5-star in the 247Sports Composite and the 20th overall player in the class.

The rumor mill had been swirling on Wesco and the possibility he could begin to consider other schools due to Clemson’s 4-3 start in the 2023 season.

Wesco re-affirmed his commitment to Clemson last night on social media.

Morgan Thomas updated his projected roster for the 2024 season. It currently stands at 90 players. That number will go down with players who decide to enter the NFL Draft early and/or transfers.

When times are tough, you can only hope the leaders on the field take charge. According to Dabo Swinney, that happened this week.
