Three players should return for Clemson Football against Miami

Clemson Football head coach Dabo Swinney said he expects everyone to be healthy and available as the team prepares for their road contest against the Miami Hurricanes.

Wide receiver Antonio Williams and cornerback Nate Wiggins are key players who have missed multiple games for the Tigers this season. Clemson was also without cornerback Sheridan Jones against Wake Forest due to illness.

Clemson Women’s Soccer continues excellent season

Clemson Women’s Soccer is ranked 8th in the United Soccer Coaches poll this week.

Makenna Morris has been honored as the ACC Defensive Player Of The Week.

Clemson Football offensive line honored by award committee

The Joe Moore Award has named the Clemson offensive line to their midseason honor roll. The Tigers are one of 23 teams named.

Cole Cubelic serves as the chairperson for the Joe Moore voting committee, and explained the honor roll:

"“The offensive line units on the 2023 Midseason Honor Roll have caught the attention of the committee through the October 14 weekend, by demonstrating some or all of the award criteria in a recognizable way. The bar will raise significantly from here, and the consistency required to earn further recognition will be how the elite units eventually separate themselves.”"

The committee will announce semifinalists later in the season.

Clemson Football alum Mario Goodrich has been waived by the Philadelphia Eagles after a year and a half with the franchise.

Goodrich spent much of that time on the Eagles practice squad after signing as an undrafted free agent. He has been active for a handful of games.

Jalyn Phillips and Banks Pope have been recognized by Clemson Football as the ‘True Tigers’ for the Week on October 16th, for applying ‘Best Is The Standard’ in their studies.
