Brown is only the third Tiger in program history to win two honors in the same week, following Deshaun Watson and Sammy Watkins.

Parker is on pace to break Myles Murphy’s freshman record of 12 tackles for loss. Parker has 7.5 tackles for loss through five games.

Erik Bakich talks Clemson Baseball and Omaha

Clemson Baseball head coach Erik Bakich spoke with the media this week and explained his mindset as he reflects on 2023 and looks forward to 2024.

"“We finished the year not in Omaha…while there were some bright spots like winning the ACC, but it wasn’t a year where we ended in the World Series in Omaha, and I think for us as a program, we have got our goals set at the highest level like most elite teams, winning the World Series, but ending the year in Omaha would’ve been great as well.”"

Bakich says this year’s theme is “Go For No”.

"“Go for no is about getting out of your comfort zone, pushing your limits, don’t settle for the easy yes, where are you going to fail at, let’s get there and push those limits, get comfortable being uncomfortable. Once you establish those standards for yourself, there’s no finish line.”"

The Tigers will play two fall games, both on the road against solid programs.
