Week 3 of the NFL Season had some highs and lows for Clemson Tigers In The NFL.

  • Ray-Ray McCloud had three punt returns for a total of 22 yards Thursday as the 49ers beat the Giants. Dexter Lawrence had seven tackles for the Giants, and Isaiah Simmons had four tackles.
  • DeShawn Williams had four tackles for Carolina in their loss to the Seahawks.
  • AJ Terrell has four tackles and one tackle for loss in Atlanta’s loss to the Lions. Grady Jarrett had four tackles. Bradley Pinion had six punts for 295 yards, and average of 49.2 yards per punt.
  • As mentioned in this morning’s Clemson Tigers News, LA Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams suffered a season-ending ACL injury on Sunday against the Vikings. The Chargers defeated the Vikings 28-24.
  • Deshaun Watson bounced back in a big way on Sunday leading Cleveland to a 27-3 victory over the Titans. Watson was 27 for 33 with 289 yards passing and two passing touchdowns. DeAndre Hopkins had three receptions for 48 yards for the Titans.

Clemson Tigers In The NFL: K-Von Wallace and Jayron Kearse continue very good seasons

  • Brian Bresee had two tackles and one pass defense in the Saints’ loss to Green Bay.
  • The Miami Dolphins nearly set a record for points scored in their 70-20 win over Denver. Christian Wilkins had three tackles, one pass defense and three hits on the quarterback for the Dolphins.
  • Shaq Lawson had two hits on the quarterback for Buffalo in their win over Washington.
  • The Jacksonville Jaguars lost to the Texans 37-17. Trevor Lawrence was 27 for 40 passing with 279 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Travis Etienne had 19 carries for 88 yards.
  • K-Von Wallace continues to play well for Arizona, with seven tackles and one pass defense in Arizona’s win over the Cowboys. Jayron Kearse played well for the Cowboys, contributing six tackles in the loss.
  • Hunter Renfrow had two receptions for 17 yards in the Raiders’ loss to the Steelers.
  • Tee Higgins had two receptions for 21 yards in the Bengals’ Monday night win over the LA Rams. DJ Reader had two tackles and big sack.
