Good morning Clemson Nation! This is today’s Clemson Tigers News.

New NIL opportunity for Will Shipley

Will Shipley has already found success with the Ship Happens NIL initiative, and now he has found another creative way to utilize his name, image and likeness.

For this week leading up to the Florida State football game, the Clemson Chipotle has rebranded itself as “Shipotle”.

It turns out that Shipley is a huge fan of Chipotle, and he has been reaching out about partnering with the restaurant for some time. Not a bad idea if you want to get free burritos.

New Thunder & Lightning for Clemson Football?

One of the headlines leading into this football season was that James Davis was joining the Clemson staff, reuniting him with CJ Spiller to reform Thunder & Lightning.

Future Tiger Gideon Davidson is promoting a new Thunder & Lightning.

David Eziomume is a member of the Class of 2024 and will play next season. Davidson is a member of the Class of 2025 and will join the Tigers the following season.

It looks like the embarrassment of riches at running back is in good shape for a few more years.

Cole Turner injury will cost him the remainder of the season

Wide receiver Cole Turner was injured Saturday night against Florida Atlantic when he landed awkwardly after an attempted reception. He looked like he was in a good deal of pain on the field, and unfortunately the news is not good.

Head coach Dabo Swinney confirmed Sunday that Turner will miss the rest of the season. He tore three adductor muscles, which are located in the thighs and are the muscles that bring the legs together towards the center of the body.

This is disappointing for Turner, who redshirted in 2022 and was just beginning his first full season of play for the Tigers.

Congratulations to Katie Hurta and Kate Simington who were named to the All-Tournament team at the Tulane Invitational for Clemson Volleyball.
