Dabo Swinney comments on Florida Atlantic and Florida State
Head coach Dabo Swinney met with the media on Wednesday and spoke on a handful of subjects related to their game this weekend against Florida Atlantic.
It sounds like Andrew Mukuba won’t be playing in this contest. Swinney noted two freshmen, Khalil Barnes and Avieon Terrell, have been working at Mukuba’s nickel position this week.
Of FAU, Swinney said this:
"“Schematically they’re going to be a challenge. They really test you with their eyes and they do a lot of different motions. They got speed and some guys that can really run.”“Big, strong active guys inside. They’re well-coached. Lot of movement so you’ve got to be able to communicate. Lot of things that will challenge us this week.”"
Swinney was asked about the noon start time for Clemson Football’s game against Florida State on September 23rd. Many expected the game to be in prime time, but Clemson’s Week 1 loss to Duke shifted the priorities for the networks.
"“Just tell us when we are going to play. I just enjoy having a chance to compete and play, regardless of whatever time it is. Tell us when we are going to play. We don’t control that, so I don’t spend much time worrying about that.”"
New scholarship offer out for Clemson Football
The Tigers have extended another scholarship offer to a 2025 prospect.
