Wisconsin Badgers

I’ve been to Madison a couple of times for work. Nice place. Nice people. My kind of city. I am going to try to avoid February from now on, however. -11 degrees dampened the experience somewhat.

Otherwise, Clemson fans would probably find Madison to be their kind of place. It may be the capital of Wisconsin and have a population of 260,000+, but make no mistake about it, Madison is a college town through and through, and they love their Badgers.

How many seriously don’t want to experience ‘Jump Around’ at Camp Randall Stadium? Did you know they also like to sing ‘Build Me Up Buttercup’?

This is all you need to know to understand that a game at Camp Randall would be a blast. The Badger fans routinely stick around 30-45 minutes after the game is over just to sing and dance with the marching band. They call it ‘Bucky’s Fifth Quarter’.

The university website describes it:

"“Initially, it was clapping to ‘You’ve Said it All’ and arm waving to ‘Varsity.‘ Nevertheless, it was evident early on that everyone was having fun being part of the show. As the repertoire of post-game specialties grew, so did the choreography. The band members added to the festivities by adding their bit of craziness — rolling vigorously on the ground, playing while standing on their heads, or kicking their legs in the air while playing on their backs.”"
