Clemson Men’s Soccer 1, UNC Wilmington 1: Clemson United earns a draw against the Seahawks at Historic Riggs Field.

Mohamed Saye scored for the Tigers in the 14th minute on an assist from Shawn Smart. It was Saye’s first goal of the 2023 season.

Wilmington tied it up in the 51st minutes, but could not manage to take the lead. Clemson goalkeeper had two saves on the evening.

The Tigers had plenty of shots, and led possession most of the game. They will be in action again on Friday at 7:00 hosting the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Broadcast crew announced for Clemson Football at Duke on Labor Day

ESPN has announced that Dave Pasch, Dusty Dvorcek and Tom Luginbill will be calling Clemson’s game against the Duke Blue Devils on Labor Day Monday. The broadcast is scheduled to start at 8:00 PM.

Steelers release another Tiger

The Pittsburgh Steelers released BT Potter over the weekend, and yesterday they let another Clemson Football alum go.

Tanner Muse was released by the Steelers on Monday. Muse was signed by Pittsburgh in April following a year and a half in Seattle.

Muse was drafted in the third round by the Raiders in the 2020 NFL Draft. He was a starter for the loaded 2018 defense that won the National Championship against the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Clemson Softball alum Caroline Jacobsen has completed her first pro season with Athletes Unlimited, and she has been honored with a spot on their All-Defensive team for 2023.

Clemson Football released its first post-fall depth chart of the season, and there were a few surprises. The Atlantic Coast Conference appears to be heading towards expansion, but the tragic events in Chapel Hill have delayed things temporarily. Rubbing The Rock will have more on both subjects later today.
