Terrell is a name that should be familiar to Tiger fans. His brother, AJ, was a solid cornerback for the Tigers who made a huge Pick-Six against Alabama in the 2018 title game. He is now with the Atlanta Falcons.

Aveion was rumored to be a lean towards the Tigers from an early age since he considered the program ‘family’. He joined Shelton Lewis and Branden Strozier as corners in the Class of 2024, as well as athlete Misun Kelley.

It was logical that most of that group would redshirt. Clemson had two returning veterans at corner in Sheridan Jones and Nate Wiggins. Both Jaedyn Lukus and Toriano Pride got considerable snaps as freshmen last season, and they were likely to fill the second string.

Maybe one of the new corners might see snaps in more than four games this season, and Lewis was a guy that enrolled early and made an impression in the spring. Terrell, however, has made an impression of his own in fall camp.

Enough of an impression that it is fair to say that he might also avoid the redshirt, but only so many guys can play. If injuries intercede, it sounds like the staff has confidence in him, but otherwise he probably redshirts.
