Clemson Football currently has four coaches on staff – CJ Spiller, Nick Eason, Thomas Austin, and Tyler Grisham – who once wore the orange on the field for the Tigers. Other former players, such as Chansi Stuckey, are coaching elsewhere in major college football.

At any point that you look at the Tiger roster, there will likely be a handful of players who will one day try their hand at coaching football.

These are the current players that Clemson fans might see on their coaching staff one day.

Cade Klubnik

It isn’t a negative if players at positions like running back, receiver, or linemen are leaders for the offense, but it is always a positive if the starting quarterback has leadership qualities. People who have followed Klubnik since he was at Westlake High School have always commented on his personality and natural abilities to take charge and inspire his teammates. Those same qualities make a person a prime candidate for coaching.

If coaching is in his future after his playing career is over, then he should have plenty of opportunities, especially back home. Even high school football is a big deal in Texas, and several college coaches have gotten their start by making a name for themselves at that level in the Lonestar State.
