Wide Receivers: Chansi Stuckey

Stuckey is a very familiar name for Clemson fans. He starred at wide receiver for the Tigers from 2003-06. He played in the NFL for five seasons after being drafted in the 7th round of the 2007 NFL draft. Stuckey started his coaching career at Clemson as a graduate assistant in 2019. He became an offensive analyst for the Tigers in 2020 before accepting an offer to become Baylor’s wide receivers coach. His biggest break yet came in early 2022 when new Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman hired him as the wide receivers coach for the Irish.

A spot on the staff for one of the highest profile programs in all of college football is a great bullet point on the resume, so it isn’t likely Stuckey would leave for just any job, especially if it doesn’t include a promotion to a coordinator position. A job with his alma mater might be the one exception to that rule. If the wide receivers coach position were to open for the Tigers, Stuckey would be a slam dunk hire for Clemson.

Another option here is Artavis Scott, who played for Coach Swinney and was a graduate assistant in 2021. He would be a fine addition, but Stuckey has more experience.
