Beaux Collins

Collins was a 4-star wide receiver prospect in the 247Sports Composite for the Class of 2021. He attended St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California.

When Collins arrived alongside fellow wide receiver commitment Dacari Collins, they were billed together as ‘The Collins Towers’. When veteran receivers ahead of them on the depth chart were injured, the Tigers called on Beaux and Dacari late in the 2021 season. Beaux stepped up and provided playmaking ability at the position that the Tigers had been lacking all season.

As some of those injured players returned and some promising freshmen joined the team for 2022, Dacari found himself buried on the depth chart again and transferred. Beaux carved out a starting position and played well to begin the 2022 campaign, but injuries cost him some time in mid-season. He returned but struggled to contribute, ultimately electing to have season-ending surgery.

Although he missed spring practice during his recovery, Collins is expected to be fully healthy when fall camp begins. He will have to catch up on everything that Riley is implementing in the offense, but he has a chance to be a major contributor this season. With his experience, the Tigers will need him to step up and be a leader in the wide receiver room.
