Teams that have never beaten Clemson Football
By John Chancey
The Rest
There are several examples of teams in the Group of Five to whom Clemson has never lost. Some of the most notable examples are:
Appalachian State: most of the games between the Tigers and the Mountaineers came before Appalachian moved to the FCS, but they are nonetheless undefeated against them.
Louisiana Tech: The Tigers are 4-0 against the Bulldogs, including their victory in Death Valley in 2022.
UCF: Clemson outlasted the Golden Knights 21-13 in Death Valley to open the 2001 season.
The rest of the teams Clemson has never lost against are:
- Ball State
- Bingham Military School (NC)
- Camp Sevier (SC)
- Central Michigan
- Charlotte
- Charlotte YMCA
- Coastal Carolina
- Duquesne (PA)
- East Tennessee State
- Elon
- Florida Atlantic
- Georgia Southern
- Georgia State
- Gordon (GA)
- Guilford (NC)
- Kent State

Clemson played Rhodes (TN) twice, with one victory and one tie, but no losses. They also played and tied both Fordham (NY) and Cumberland (TN), so they haven’t defeated those teams but they did play them and have not lost to them.
