The Clemson Tigers softball team has announced that two transfers will be joining them next season.

Alex Brown is a utility player who is transferring to Clemson after two seasons with the North Carolina Tar Heels. She is from Savannah, Georgia. She was a 2nd team All-ACC player in 2023 while batting .399 with 63 hits.

Lindsey Garcia is transferring to Clemson after four seasons with the Auburn Tigers. She is from Coral Springs, Florida. She finished 2023 with ten home runs and a .534 slugging percentage.

Head coach John Rittman will also have five new additions from the high school ranks joining the squad next season.

The Major League Baseball Draft has been happening over the last few days, and some players and prospects will be going pro instead of playing for the Clemson Tigers in 2024. It does appear that one potential draft pick has decided that he will be joining coach Erik Bakich’s team next year.

Aidan Knaak has informed pro teams that he intends to join the Tigers in 2024.

Knaak played for Bishop Verot High School in Fort Myers, Florida. Perfectgame.org lists him as a right-handed pitcher and a second baseman.

One last note on the MLB Draft: with the 610th overall pick (20th round), the Los Angeles Dodgers selected former Clemson quarterback DJ Uiagalelei.

As noted by Austin Pendergist (@apthirteen), it looks like Clemson is making a slight change to their jerseys this season. They will use the Nike F.U.S.E. template this year. They are subtle changes that many fans might not notice unless they look very closely.

A priority 2025 defensive line prospect has announced his Top 7, and Clemson Football made the cut.

Amare Adams is a 4-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite. He is from South Florence High School. His Top 7 has several familiar names, such as South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia and Florida State. LSU and Alabama round out the list.

Clemson Tigers alum Deon Cain is headed back to the NFL

You might have seen some of the highlights of Tiger Alum Deon Cain as he helped the Birmingham Stallions to a USFL championship this past weekend. His hard work has paid off, and it appears that Cain will get another opportunity in the NFL.

There is no word yet on which team will be signing Cain.

We’ve seen 2024 commit Sammy Brown impressing in the weight room, and that was followed by Quadzilla (Domonique Thomas) deadlifting 700 pounds. It appears another 2024 commit, Drew Woodaz, the brother of Wade Woodaz, wants to get in on the action as well.
