Clemson Tigers News: Classes begin for newest Tigers, baseball practice looming
The Clemson football midyear enrollees were shown moving into their new abodes earlier this week and now that they’re all settled in, it’s time for classes to begin.
It’s a day that brings back memories for many of us and to this day I can still remember my very first class (ECON) at Clemson.
For me, it was quite the change from what I was used to, but also a chance to rewrite what everyone thought you were, a fresh start so to speak.
Their athletic careers will unfold in front of millions, but at least for now, they’re students like the rest of us (were/are).

One Tiger that’s not in class is Joseph Ngata, who has decided to enter the 2023 NFL Draft.
Clemson Men’s Basketball has given us some good moments over the last several weeks and we’re obviously following along closely as Brad Brownell’s squad has played with…wait for it….GRIT since a loss to Loyola Chicago back in December.
Even without Alex Hemenway the Tigers sit alone atop the ACC standings in a remarkable achievement.
We shouldn’t get too far ahead of ourselves here, the road ahead is full of land mines and there are still non-believers out there, but they have been a fun watch, which is something I haven’t said about Clemson basketball in years.
Clemson defeated Louisville 83-70 last night to remain unbeaten in the ACC and we’ll have more on that this morning.
Speaking of fun watches, we are looking forward to Clemson baseball with incredible anticipation this year as we really have no idea of what to expect from Erik Bakich’s initial edition of the Tigers, with all of the roster and philosophy changes.
It’s bound to be must-watch ACCNX.
It won’t be long until the Tigers hit Dough Kingsmore Field for practice.

Clemson opens the season by hosting Binghamton in a three game series from February 17-19 with games times scheduled for 4 p.m., 2 p.m. and noon, respectively.
The Bearcats are the reigning America East Conference Champions, going 22-30 last season, winning the conference tournament and participating in the Stanford Regional where they lost to Stanford and Cal-Santa Barbara.
