There have been times in the past when Clemson football fans sweated it out to National Signing Day over a 5-star recruit committed to the Tigers that resided in “enemy” territory.

Sometimes those situations ended up going against the Tigers in the end.

Some suggested that may be the case this year, but Peter Woods, Clemson’s prize recruit in the 2023 cycle appears to be all in despite hailing from Alabama.

Considering what Clemson may lose along the defensive line this season, this is more than good news, but there never seemed to be a doubt about Woods’s commitment to Clemson.

I’m an old dude, but that’s refreshing in the age of flips, flops, decommitments, recommitments and multiple transfers for the same player.

Even so, Dabo Swinney and staff are taking 0 for granted.

Clemson football legend Hunter Renfrow will be back on the field Sunday

Clemson legend Hunter Renfrow has been on the injured list since November 10th, but earlier this week the Raiders made the decision to designate Renfrow for return and now he’s been activated for return for this week’s game against the Patriots.

Renfrow has 21 catches for 192 yards and no touchdowns in six games this season after catching 103 passes last season for 1,038 yards and nine touchdowns in 2021.

The Raiders made the playoffs last season, but have struggled to a 5-8 record in 2022 and are in third place in the AFC West with 4 games remaining in the season.

The Clemson Men’s Basketball team had a big win in more ways than one against the Richmond Spiders last night.  After a disastrous outing against Loyola Chicago last Saturday the Tigers had a week off for exams and then came out hitting on all cylinders in an 85-57 win over Atlantic 10 opponent Richmond.  The Tigers never trailed in the game and led by as much as 35 points en route to a win in their final non-conference game of the season.
