Clemson Football: ACC Power Rankings through Week 11

4. Pitt Panthers – Last Week: 6 – (6-4) – Two pick 6’s in the first two plays of the game?!?!  Up 14 points in 14 seconds of game time without the offense stepping foot on the field.  Wow.  Kedon Slovis was serviceable throwing for 208 and a score.  Israel Abanikanda added 121 yards on the ground and a touchdown and this game vs. UVA was a blowout from the beginning.  Next up: vs. Duke

3. Florida State Seminoles – Last Week: 3 – (7-3) – a 38-3 shellacking of the Syracuse Orange, and FSU may be the hottest team in the conference not named North Carolina.  All the Noles keep doing is winning, and doing so in dominating fashion. Trey Benson ran for 163 yards.  Jordan Travis was as good as he needed to be, as this one was not competitive from the jump.  Next up: vs. Louisiana

2. Clemson Tigers – Last Week: 2 – (9-1) – Clemson had a couple of turnovers, but otherwise this was a completely dominating performance against Louisville.  The game never seemed in doubt.  Will Shipley added a spectacular touchdown run that included hurdling a defender, while Linebacker Barrett Carter, not to be outdone with a leap over a running back of his own for a sack.  Next up: vs. Miami

1. North Carolina Tar Heels – Last Week: 1 – (9-1) – Drake Maye is Drake Maye, and dang he’s good for a frosh.  He threw for 448 and 3 tds, and ran for another 71 yards.  But Josh Downs though, he’s a flat-out stud.  The guy is always open and extremely dynamic with the ball in his hands.  11 catches for 154 yards and 3 scores.  The defense, led by Gene Chizik, is rounding into form, however, they still gave up 34 points to Wake.  The current team to beat in the ACC.  Next up: vs. Georgia Tech
