Clemson football looks to right the ship and get back in the win column Saturday against ACC foe Louisville at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN.

The 8-1 Tigers are favored over the 6-3 Cardinals by a touchdown in a game that’s expected to generate 52 points.

Quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei is looking to get back on track after two subpar games and many are questioning at what point is it time to get freshman Cade Klubnik some meaningful snaps as the Tigers look forward to the future.

The Cardinals are on a four-game winning streak after a slow start to the season that included a mystifying loss to Boston College.

The doubters and “told you so” crowd is out in full force against Clemson this week after the loss to Notre Dame and it’s difficult to argue most of their points after the putrid display the Tigers put on last Saturday.

Clemson football looks to extend the longest home winning streak in the nation

Clemson looks to extend its nation’s best 38 home game winning streak, which coincidentally began after a 43-42 loss to Pittsburgh on – wait for it – November 12, 2016.

Three weeks ago it was a foregone conclusion that the Tigers would make it through the home season unbeaten, but two games of poor quarterback play have many believing the Tigers will lose again before the season ends.
