Clemson Football: 5 things to watch vs. N.C. State
Aiden Swanson had his worst game of the season punting last week on a clean field in Winston-Salem, and in fact, his grade has gone down each week of the season as has his hang time.
With the pending weather one could surmise that punting and field position could be a large part of the game Saturday and 33 yards per punt with a net of 29 yards is not what the Tigers need.
The declining numbers are a big concern as the most important part of the schedule is coming up. If it was a one week trend, there would be less concern, but there’s a documented decrease each week, for three consecutive weeks.
Now, Swanson faces prime time pressure with the remnants of a hurricane in his face.
