9. Louisville Cardinals – Last Week: 10 – (2-2) – Louisville did what Louisville was supposed to do against a directional Florida and won big, this week versus South Florida.  Still not a ton of movement in the Power Poll this week, but thanks to Miami falling flat, they move up one slot.  Malik Cunningham looked dominant against inferior opposition as he’s apt to do.  Next up: @ Boston College

8. North Carolina Tar Heels – Last Week: 5 – (3-1)- The Tar Heels came off a bye and swiftly got whipped by the much-maligned Notre Dame Fighting Irish.  The drop three places is strictly because of the extra week to prepare, get healthy, and then looking like a team that had no business being 3-0.  Well, they’re 3-1 now and in the middle of the pack in the conference.  Drake Maye is still a guy I’m buying stock on, but he’s going to need help from his defense to be a player in the conference.  Next up: vs. Virginia Tech

7. Duke Blue Devils – Last Week: 8 – (3-1) – In what would have been a marquee matchup on the hardwood took center-ish stage this past Saturday as the then undefeated Blue Devils dropped a game at Kansas.  This team is a huge surprise in the conference and still holds the cards in a wide-open race in the Coastal division. And with a winnable game this weekend versus Virginia, first-year Head Coach has something fun going on in Durham.  Next up: vs. Virginia

6. Pittsburgh Panthers – Last Week: 9 – (3-1) – Ho-hum, a win against Rhode Island for the Panthers in week 4.  And this weekend they’ll be going against an interim coach at Georgia Tech.  Slovis was back for Pitt, but this game was really the coming out party for Israel Abanikanda who scored 4 times on the ground to go along with his 177 yards.  Are they the favorites in the Coastal?  Up Next: Georgia Tech

5. Syracuse Orange – Last Week: 3 – (4-0) – I watched the entirety of the Syracuse/UVA game Friday night and was completely underwhelmed by the Orange.  I thought their defense was solid, but their offense was stymied for the most part versus a mediocre UVA defense.  Orande Gadsen is a load at TE/WR, and Sean Tucker is a solid RB.  Garrett Shrader is inaccurate as a passer, or at least was Friday night.  Next up: vs. Wagner
