Four star defensive lineman Tomarrion Parker had several crystal balls placed towards Clemson football Friday morning.

Three experts on 247.com placed predications for the Tigers, including lead analyst Steve Wiltfong.

Parker is from Central High School in Phenix City, Alabama, a school and city that should sound familiar to Clemson fans.

Parker committed to Penn State on June 21, 2022 before decommitting from the Nittany Lions on August 9th and reopening his commitment.

The 6’4, 250 pound defensive lineman is the 100th ranked player and 12th ranked defensive lineman in the 247.com composite ranking, but is much higher rated by 247sports.com itself, coming in at number 49 overall and 4th best among defensive lineman.

Should Parker decide to join the commitment list at Clemson it will add to an already impressive list of defensive linemen assembled by the Tigers staff, including Peter Woods, Vic Burley, Stephiylan Green, David Ojiegbe and A.J. Hoffler.

Parker has visits scheduled this fall for Florida and Tennessee, so we’ll see if those hold or if he commits prior to those visits, as we all know how Clemson feels about commitments visiting other schools.

Clemson will likely have plenty to replace along the defensive line after this season as both Myles Murphy and Bryan Bresee are highly prized NFL prospects, K.J. Henry and Xavier Thomas will exhaust their eligibility and Tyler Davis and Justin Mascoll are listed as seniors.

The Tigers currently have 20 commitments in the 2023 cycle and are hosting a couple 2023 prospects and plenty of 2024 prospects this weekend as they take on the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs of Conference USA on Saturday evening.

The Tigers are currently eighth in the 247sports.com team recruiting ranking, but are much closer to ninth than seventh.

The Tigers current commitment list is headed by two five stars, fifteen four stars and three three star prospects, including four top 100 and 9 top 250 recruits.
