The Atlantic Coast Conference announced on Monday that the Clemson-Wake Forest game scheduled to be played in Winston-Salem on September 24 will kick off at noon eastern time and will be shown on ABC.
It will be Clemson’s first noon game of the season after a prime time game on Labor Day night, a 3:30 EST afternoon slot and then back to prime time for this week’s game against Louisiana Tech.
Wake Forest is 2-0 after beating Vanderbilt 45-25 last Saturday behind a fantastic performance from Sam Hartman, who recovered from a blood clot.
Hartman threw for 300 yards and four touchdowns against the Commodores after sitting out the opener against VMI, a 44-10 win.
Clemson defeated Georgia Tech 41-10 Monday in Atlanta, then had to turnaround and play five days later, which turned out to be a lackluster 35-12 victory over Furman.
